Adult Learning

Your future is waiting!

Work on your reading, writing, math, English language or computer skills for free right here at the library. Waukegan Public Library can help you to open the door to a better future.

We provide educational opportunities for adults in reading, writing, math, speaking English, learning to use computers, and more! For some programs, you may need to meet with a library staff member before beginning. Other programs are on a drop-in basis.

All our classes and programs are free of charge.

Adult Literacy Tutoring

Trained volunteer tutors meet one on one with adults seeking to improve their reading, writing, and math skills or to learn English. If you would like to schedule a one on one tutor or volunteer with the program, please call 847-775-2549 or email.
