Being a Volunteer is Easy and Fun!
Volunteering at Waukegan Public Library is a great way to give back to your community and feel the pride and satisfaction of helping and inspiring others. Our volunteers take on many roles – tutoring adult learners, assisting with program and craft preparation, lending a hand at special events, putting your computer and art skills to work, and sharing the benefits of the library to your family, friends, and neighbors. Some positions might require training before you can start volunteering. Also, please note that the library is not accepting court ordered community service volunteers at this time.
Ready to volunteer? Just fill out the online form to let us know your contact information, availability, and type of volunteer work you’re interested in. Once your form is submitted, a library staff member will get in touch with you within a week. We’ll share specific opportunities with you, date and time requirements, and answer all of your questions.
