If you sign up for email or text notifications with My Card, you will receive an email or text reminder two days before your items are due. You’ll also receive email, text, and printed reminders if your items remain overdue past seven days.
If you do not return or renew your items within 60 days after the due date, you will receive a bill for the replacement cost of the item. Click here for more information.
The Library has a limit on the number of items a patron can check out in these categories:
6 DVDs per person
4 Blu-Rays per person
2 Video games per person
Placing Holds
Locate the desired item in the catalog. Click “Request” which is located either below the title, or just near the top, just below the gray line. You will be prompted to enter your name and library card number, and select the location to pick up your hold. The system will tell you if your request has been successful or not. When the item is ready, the library will notify you by e-mail notification, a phone call or a card in the mail, depending on what you have selected in your Personal Information.
E-mail notifications
If you prefer to be notified about requests or overdue items via E-mail, you may change your preferences through My Card, or, from the main catalog page, click on My Card, follow the prompts and then click on “Modify Personal Info.”
