Reading Colors Your World: Summer Library Fun

Join the library for a celebration of reading, programs, and all things colorful!

During the next few months, under the theme “Reading Colors Your World” the Waukegan Public Library will host a range of free programs and activities for all ages.

Programs for teens include in-person colorful canvas art, tie-dye tees, and marble paper art.
Programs for adults include take-home activity bags, virtual DIY’s and community presentations.

Free Summer Lunches

The library will once again be offering free grab and go lunches for kids and teens. Starting June 14, parents and/or children can pick up a free boxed lunch at the parking lot located on Martin Luther King Dr. behind the Main Library. The program is open to all children and teens, regardless of the school they attend, so parochial students and homeschoolers are welcome. The menu will change every day, and lunches will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, Mondays-Fridays from 12:00 – 1:00 pm.
