Materials can be returned in the drive up book drop located on Martin Luther King Dr. behind the Main Library which is now open 24/7. Items can also be returned in the book drop located in the parking lot at the Waukegan Park District Field House Sports, Fitness & Aquatics Center.
Library Services & Programming
We will continue providing resources and our collection online. For assistance with digital resources, please call 847-623-2041 ext. 238. Staff will also be available to answer general questions at 847-623-2041 and will provide remote assistance Monday – Friday, 10:00 am – 7:00 pm.
Adult ESL and literacy tutoring, Conversational ESL, Digital Literacy, Health Literacy and GED in Spanish will continue as virtual programming. For general inquiries and enrollment, please call 847-775-2547.
Library Card Expiration Dates Extended
If your library card expires between now and December 31, 2020, your card will automatically be extended. For other account services, please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 847-623-2041.
Temporary Library Card
If you don’t have a library card, Waukegan residents can apply for a temporary library card while our building is closed to the public. This card will allow you to use all of our online resources. The safety of our community and staff continues to be our top priority.
