Read Outside Your World with our Winter Reading Program!

Has the horrendously cold weather been getting you down? Do you need something to break up the winter blues? Come to the library and Read Outside Your World with our second annual Winter Reading Program for adults and teens!

From now until March 3rd, we’ll be registering people for the Winter Reading Program at the main library and the Hinkston Branch. Just fill out a quick registration form, and receive a raffle entry for every book that you read between now and the end of the program. We’ll be giving away three grand prize gift baskets in March, filled with books, gift cards, and other awesome prizes!

You can read any book, in any format, for the Winter Reading Program, and if you’re looking for something new to read, make sure to check out our website or talk to us at the Reference Desk! We have book lists for adults and teens, an online form for personalized reading suggestions, weekly blog posts, and more! And of course, we can help you find great books at the Reference Desk as well!

In addition, make sure to keep an eye on our displays and our New Release area – we’ll be using special bookmarks to highlight some lesser-known titles and diverse reads you may not have seen before!

Winter may be long, but it doesn’t have to be boring. Sign up today and see how far you can read outside your world!
