February 6: Game Time!
Children in grades 3-5 will have fun playing challenging and educational games, on Monday, February 6, from 5:00 – 6:00pm in the Bradbury Room on the lower level.
February 7: Managing College Costs
Young adults will learn budgeting skills for their college experience, on Tuesday, February 7, from 5:00 – 6:00pm in the Bradbury Room on the lower level.
February 10: Valentine’s Day Concert
Patrons of all ages will celebrate Valentine’s Day with music from classical quartet Silver Strings, with drinks and sweet treats available from the Friends of the Library, from 12:00 – 1:00pm in Classroom AB on the main floor, sponsored by Lewis Fresh Market, on Friday, February 10.
February 15: Numbers and Counting
Preschoolers will practice numbers and counting through fun games and a craft, on Wednesday, February 15, from 11:30am – 12:00pm in the Early Learning Center sponsored by North Shore Gas.
February 15: Taste of Memphis
Students in grades 6-8 will experience the food and culture of Memphis, Tennessee, Wednesday, February 15, rom 5:00 – 6:30pm in the Bradbury Room on the lower level. Food generously provided by Lewis Fresh Market.
February 20: Film Screening: 13th
February 21: Film Screening: 13th
Adults and young adults will view Ava DuVernay’s powerful documentary 13th and then discuss its impact, on Monday February 20, from 11am – 2pm in classroom AB on the main floor, and on Tuesday, February 21, from 5:00 – 7:45pm in classroom B on the main floor.
February 20: Create a Story Quilt
Children in grades 3-5 will create unique story quilts illustrating a special memory, on Monday, February 20, 5:00 – 6:00pm in the Bradbury Room on the lower level.
February 20: Engineering Challenge
Children ages 6 and 7 will build their STEM skills – and use their imaginations – to build with everyday items like toothpicks, craft sticks, and blocks, on Monday, February 20, from 6:30 – 7:00pm, in the Early Learning Center sponsored by North Shore Gas.
February 22: Dance and Music
Preschoolers will explore music and dance on Wednesday, February 22, 11:30am – 12:00pm in the Early Learning Center sponsored by North Shore Gas.
February 22: Word Scramble
Students in grades 6-8 will work together to unscramble giant words, on Wednesday, February 22, from 5:00pm – 6:00pm in the Bradbury Room on the lower level.
February 27: Building Extravaganza
Children ages 6 and 7 will develop their STEM skills with building toys, on Monday, February 27, from 6:30 – 7:00pm in the Early Learning Center sponsored by North Shore Gas.
February 28: Homeschool Storytime
Homeschoolers and their parents will hear stories and sing songs at this special storytime, on the last Tuesday of the month from 2:00 – 2:45pm in the Early Learning Center sponsored by North Shore Gas.
February 28: Bound to Please Book Club
Retired librarian Lourdes Mordini moderates the library’s monthly book club, on Tuesday, February 28, from 2:00 – 3:30pm in the Bradbury Room on the lower level.

Monday – Thursday: K-8 Homework Help and YA Homework Help
Tutors provide homework help to students on a drop-in basis, Mondays through Thursdays for students in grades K-12. Grades K-8 meet in the Homework Help room in the Children’s Department; the high school Homework Room meets in classroom B on the main floor.
Tuesdays, 10:15 – 10:30am: Two-Year-Old Storytime
Stories and songs for toddlers and their parents, every Tuesday in the Early Learning Center sponsored by North Shore Gas.
Wednesdays, 10:00am – 12:00pm: Drop-In Adult Learning Center
Thursdays, 5:00 – 7:00pm: Drop In Adult Learning Center

Adults can stop in for one-on-one help with reading, writing, math, or computer skills. No registration necessary!
