2009 Waukegan Public Library Summer Courtyard Concerts

Join us in the library’s courtyard this summer for our 12th annual concert series. Concerts will begin Friday, June 5 at noon and go through Friday, August 28 and are free! June 12: Loko Amor Gypsy rumbas of Spain and romantic boleros from Cuba to Colombian cumbia and Mexican huapango

June 19: Kraig Kenning Blues, American finger style guitar

June 26: Downhome Sophisticates Guitar/harmonica/singer trio

July 3: Roberta Miles Jazz vocalist

July 10: Doc Schneider Rock-N-Roll

July 17: Danny Santos Unique mix of country/folk tinged with bluegrass and the blues

July 24: Sean McCluskey Continuing the grand tradition of jazz innovation through introspective readings of the Great American Songbook and soulful originals.

July 31: Patchouli New American folk music, inspired by elements of flamenco, jazz and world beat rhythms.

August 7: Rockin' Fenderskirts The happy days of Jerry Lee Lewis, Elvis and the Beatles

August 14: Harrison Bankhead Jazz Quartet

August 21: Bill Overton Sax performer

August 28: The Piano Guy Piano playing and singing like no other
