Boerner Botanical Gardens
Presents information about the gardens and the people who made them, with great pictures.

Milwaukee Architecture
See an eight-sided house or a house that was ordered through a catalog! There are pictures and descriptions of interesting and historic buildings from the 1840's to the present.

Milwaukee Art Museum
Provides information about different exhibits, classes for children and teenagers, and special collections and events. You can "Ask the Artist" about questions on art or artists at the Museum.

Milwaukee County Zoo
Find out all about the zoo at this site.

Milwaukee Public Museum
You can find out everything about the Museum here. There are descriptions and pictures of their exhibits, information about special events, and more.

Mitchell Park Domes
Each of the three domes features a different ecology. This Web site has information about each of the domes, plus a schedule of the exhibits in the Show Dome.

Racine Zoo
The Racine Zoo is one of the few remaining free zoos in the U.S. Check out their Web site for more information about the animals that live there and about the zoo's history.

Timber Wolf Preservation Society
This society helps Eastern Timber Wolves. You can visit fifteen of these beautiful animals at the society and see great pictures on their Web site.

Wehr Nature Center
This site has tons of information about nature and the Nature Center.

Festivals in Wisconsin

Asian Moon Festival
Your chance to enjoy Asia in Milwaukee. Enjoy exhibits of different Asian cultures, including needlework, flower arranging, martial arts, and Feng Shui. There will also be food from many of Milwaukee's best Asian restaurants!

Bastille Days
Much of Wisconsin's history and culture has been influenced by the French. Take a quick lesson in French or try some great French food, listen to the music and watch the annual Waiters' and Waitresses' Duel.

Bristol Renaissance Faire
Step back in time at the Bristol Renaissance Faire! The Faire is held every weekend during the summer. You can watch live jousting matches (fights between knights on horses) every day! The costumes are gorgeous, the music is lovely, and the food is great. There's even a special "Kids' Kingdom"!

Festa Italiana
Nightly fireworks displays at Festa Italiana are stunning! With Italian art, food, and games, the people who run this event aren't kidding when they call this, "America's Grandissima!"

Germanfest
Things are always "Wunderbar" at Germanfest! The schnitzel and spanferkel are delicious. The fashion shows are lovely. The yodeling contest is like nothing you have ever heard before!

Great Circus Parade
Watch an old-fashioned circus parade in downtown Milwaukee. The parade lasts for two hours and recreates a turn-of-the-century circus street parade.

Indian Summer Festival
If you are interested in Native Americans, or just want to have fun, the Indian Summer Festival is the place to be.

Irish Fest
Milwaukee's Irish Fest is the world's largest festival dedicated to the music, history and culture of Ireland.

Mexican Fiesta
Take a trip to Mexico without your passport! There will be tons of great Mexican food and Mariachi music.

Polish Fest
Don't miss your chance to try a pierogi or a paczki! Listen to the wonderful Polish music! Watch an amazing demonstration of wycinanki! See the Dragon of Wawel Castle!
