How to get a Library Card
Waukegan Public Library Cards are available free of charge to children of all ages who live in the Library District. A parent’s signature is required for children under the age of 18. Parents must show identification with proof of current address. Parents bear responsibility for all materials checked out on their children's cards.
Most special services in the Children's Department from playing checkers to using the Internet require a library card in good standing. Please remember to bring your card with you when visiting and pay fines promptly.
