The Main Library is on County Street between Washington and Grand. It is located on the southwest corner of the intersection of County and Clayton, just north of the Lake County Building and parking garage.

From Route 41 Southbound
Exit at Washington Street, turn East. Stay on Washington for about two miles. Turn left (north) on County Street. Go two blocks to Clayton.
From Route 41 Northbound
Exit at Grand Ave (Rt 132), turn East. Stay on Grand for about two miles. Turn right (south) on County Street. Go one block to Clayton.

FREE PARKING FOR LIBRARY PATRONS
As of January 1, 2008 there will be one hour of free parking in the parking garage at 225 N. County St. (at the corner of County and Clayton) with a fee of $1 for each additional hour.

• All downtown parking meters will have a 2 hour time limit
• Meters are .25 for each half hour.
• Meters are strictly enforced between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m.
• Parking fines increase to $20 per violation.

The Hinkston Branch is located in Waukegan Park District’s Hinkston Park Field House located at the corner of Grand and Baldwin. From the east or the west, take Grand Ave. to the light at Baldwin turn north.
