Temporary Visitors Driver’s License Preparation Classes will be available for immigrants seeking to obtain their driver’s license. The goal of this program will be to help prepare students pass the written portion of the Rules of the Road test in the state of IL, in order to be a licensed driver.

Clases de Preparación para obtener la licencia de conducir temporal para visitantes. El objetivo de este programa será ayudar a preparar a los estudiantes pasar la parte escrita del Reglamento de la prueba de carretera en el estado de Illinois, con el fin de ser un conductor con licencia.

Program: Special Event

Every Friday from June 6 to August 29, musicians will perform a wide range of musical styles including jazz, rock, folk, and bluegrass from noon to 1 p.m. in front of the library on Clayton and County Streets. If it rains, concerts will move indoors to the Bradbury Room in the library’s lower level. Listeners can bring their own lunch or purchase lunch available for sale onsite from Green Town Tavern. Drinks and baked goods are also available for purchase by the Friends of the Waukegan Public Library. The Courtyard Concerts are generously sponsored each year by the Friends of the Waukegan Public Library.
