Children ages 8 to 14 are invited to sign up for computer classes to learn basic computer skills which include word processing, spreadsheets, and video uploading. Arts Awareness Meeting

Watch “Akeelah and the Bee,” a 2006 film about a young girl from South Los Angeles who tries to make it to the National Spelling Bee by learning to believe in herself and value her intelligence. The film features Angela Bassett and Laurence Fishburne. After the film, include your pledge for peace on our “Give Peace a Hand” collage. Free popcorn will be served. All ages welcome.
