Every Wednesday, excluding the fourth Wednesday of the month, open lab hours are available for those who wish to learn computer skills in an informal setting, those who wish to review recently attained computer skills, those who just want to brush up on computer skills, or those anywhere in between. This class is for individuals who have successfully completed the BEGINNING and INTERMEDIATE computer classes in Spanish. The class runs for four consecutive weeks January 5, 12, 19, & 26 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and is held in the Computer Learning Center on the library’s main floor. Classes funded by Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity.

Kids ages 4 to 7 will give their imaginations a workout, listening to stories, singing songs and creating craft projects in the art center.

Fun and interactive bilingual learning time in which stories are combined with hands-on extension activities ,such as science experiments, art projects, and drama activities that expand concepts presented in the stories read.
