Every Sunday an open lab hour is available for those who wish to learn computer skills in an informal setting, those who wish to review recently attained computer skills, those who just want to brush up on computer skills, or those anywhere in between. All are welcome, registration is kindly requested, and walk-ins are welcome. Open lab hours funded by Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity.

Homework help for students grade 1st - 12th. Library volunteers help students in all subjects. Participating students also enroll in “A is for Awesome” prize incentive program. Questions call 847-623-2041 x234.

Children ages 8 to 14 are invited to sign up for computer classes to learn basic computer skills which include word processing, spreadsheets, and video uploading. This computer class is for individuals who want to learn basic computer skills in Spanish. The class runs for four consecutive weeks February 3, 10, 17, & 24 from 2:30 to 4:30 PM and is held in the Computer Learning Center on the library’s main floor. Kids ages 4 to 7 will give their imaginations a workout, listening to stories, singing songs and creating craft projects in the art center.
