This class is for individuals who have completed beginning computer skills in English. The class runs for four consecutive weeks January 8, 15, 22, & 29 from 10:30 to 12:30 PM and is held in the Computer Learning Center on the library’s main floor. Classes funded by Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity.

This Families Learning Together class is taught by a College of Lake County instructor for adults interested in improving basic reading, writing or math skills. Your children (ages 0-6 years) learn through stories, music and activities, and they meet in the classroom next door. To register for the class, please call 847-623-2041 ext 223.

Homework help for students grade 1st - 12th. Library volunteers help students in all subjects. Participating students also enroll in “A is for Awesome” prize incentive program. Questions call 847-623-2041 x234.

Arts Awareness Meeting

Fun and interactive bilingual learning time in which stories are combined with hands-on extension activities ,such as science experiments, art projects, and drama activities that expand concepts presented in the stories read.
