Stop by with your preschooler for stories, songs and crafts!

This computer class is for individuals who want to learn basic computer skills in Spanish. The class begins on Tuesday, March 6 and ends on Tuesday, March 28. The class runs for four weeks from 6:30 to 8:00 PM and is held in the North Shore Gas Adult Literacy Room on the library’s lower level.

Show your toddler that learning can be fun! Join us each week for stories, fingerplays, songs and rhythm activities.

The class is four weeks in length and goes from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM. It is held in the Computer Learning Center on the library’s main floor.

Stop by with your preschooler for stories, songs and crafts!

Open to adults looking for help with reading, writing, math and beginning computer skills. Trained tutors available to work with you. Child care available for ages 6 and under while you attend tutoring. Drop-in basis, no registration required (no cost).

Share special time with your infant (6 to 23 months), exploring books, singing songs and enjoying other activities that exercise the mind and muscles.

Diabetes education class for people taking insulin

In this hands-on class, kids ages 4 to 7 will listen to stories, sing songs and create a craft project in the art center.

Homeschooled kids of all ages can flex their imaginations with stories and creative art projects that vary weekly based on a theme.

Learn what makes butterflies and moths different and how these winged wonders survive by tricking predators as you “fly” through a series of activities using preserved specimens. For the finale, students get a chance to live the life of these fragile animals as they experience metamorphosis first hand. Presented by Ryerson-Woods of the Lake County Forest Preserve. Registration required.
