Relive the Boston Massacre through the eyes of Crispus Attucks’ wife. Join Sojourner Truth and Harriet Tubman as they look back over their lives. Rejoice with Gwendolyn Brooks, recipient of the Pulitzer Prize for poetry, and at one time, Illinois’ Poet Laureate.

Cynthia Maddox is a Chicago actress, director, vocalist, playwright and producer who has portrayed a wide range of African-American heroines.
