Akwaaba: Learning West African People, History and Culture through African Music

Please note that not all participants may be able to participate in the drumming portion, due to time constraints and audience size.

Workshop presented by Dr. Gilo Kwesi Logan, who is the founder, former executive director, and current program facilitator for S.O.U.L. Creations. He holds a doctorate in education and teaches courses in Justice Studies & African and African-American studies at North-eastern Illinois University in Chicago.
