August 3 - Midway Ramblers Cajun Band

The Midway Ramblers Cajun Band is a lively and spirited group that knows how to entertain audiences of any age.  Kids of all ages love playing triangles, rubboards and shakers, and parents love seeing their kids keeping time to the music!   Their sound is an irresistible taste of Cajun and hot zydeco, Creole, Louisiana blues and a little Swamp Pop thrown in for spice.  To get that special Cajun sound the band members have lived and studied in Louisiana with legends of Cajun music.   The Midway Ramblers Cajun Band has played major festivals throughout the Midwest, including Taste of Chicago, Gumbo Ya Ya, and Evanston First Night as well as clubs such as The House of Blues, FitzGeralds’, and Schuba’s.
